About Sally

British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy

About 20 years ago I became interested in counselling while I was a volunteer in a Hospice. I studied Counselling and Psychotherapy for 5 years and then was awarded a degree. My governing body is the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (accredited) which has a very strict code of ethics and stringent guidelines which I have to adhere to. I attend refresher courses and seminars regularly which keep me fully up to date with all the latest research and general information in the counselling world.

NHS & Private Practice experience

I have worked for the NHS in a hospital setting and for the last 7 years in private practice. I had a private practice in central London for some years but am now almost exclusively based in the Wiltshire/Berkshire border. I see clients in my practice from my home but can also see clients in the local doctor’s surgery.

I attend personal supervision regularly which is also a requirement of my governing body.

Please contact me if you think I might be able to help
